Today I have set up the blog and etched my first piece at home. Just setting up the process was a major part of the whole thing.  The temporary little space in the garage and my inside studio.  Sorting the spaces, which is just so essential to make it happen.  The result is a nice copper etched cuff.  Free form design.  I am satisfied with it.  I can see just how much detail I can get using the asphaltum, which is actually really fine.  I also like the ability to just make one single piece without having to make an entire sheet of pnp paper which I need to photoetch.

Cold & windy outside.  Good day for me to focus on my silver jewelry.  I would like to design and etch a silver cuff for me to take to my Tues. class.  But first a return to this blog that I started yesterday, but did nothing with.   I have another library related one using blogger but have heard that worpress is better. So here we go.  I would like this one to be a log of my jewelry making adventure.  Photos, recording the procedures I use to etch, solder etc.
